Was it an apple or a banana?

Well if you ask Darwin maybe Eve offered Adam a banana in the garden. The question I read most recently asked if we evolved from apes, why are the apes still here? Some questions may never have answers, and all kinds of problems with religion arise as we advance scientifically. Some say the Holy Spirit reveals the world to us through scientific understanding. Esdras (Apocrypha) might well agree. In the 4th chapter of Esdras, he speaks with the Angel Uriel. Esdras has asked that the nature of God be revealed to him. Esdras thinks he is very smart and that he will certainly be able to understand God if properly explained, and then pass along the knowledge. Perfect, no problems of God or religion after this. Well Uriel has but one condition. Tell the answers to the nature of the world you live in and Uriel will reveal the nature of God. Uriel asks Esdras, "Weigh for me the weight of fire, measure for me a blast of wind, and call back the day that has past." Esdras responds, who born can do that? Well we can now measure the wind, and do the fire dance. Can time travel be that far behind? Maybe we are getting close...maybe not.
