Common Bond

The Early Christians were brought together by their common belief in Jesus of Nazareth. For these people the crucifixion, still fresh in the minds of the masses, was not the end of Jesus Christ, but the beginning of the Christian movement. The witness of the empty tomb, appearance to the apostles, and ascension was but the beginning. The Holy Spirit had come and opened the minds of the followers and given them the grace to spread the faith.
